ONEONTA, N.Y. – Hartwick Women's Soccer hosted the "Battle of the Hills" on Tuesday night with rival Oneonta State, but the contest would go undecided as the game ended in a 0-0 draw.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
- The Hawks and Red Dragons battled to a stalemate throughout the first 45 minutes of play as both teams put a shot on goal each, but were unable to find the back of the net.
- The second 45 minutes saw both teams turn it up a notch offensively as the town rivals each got off seven shots and put three on goal.
- Late in the contest, Hartwick's Gianna Cacciola (Wading River, N.Y.) put together two strong runs up the middle, but came up empty both times.
- On the other end, the Hawks goalkeeper, Sara Staup (Woodinville, Wash.) was equally up for the task, coming up big with a kick save off of a bullet from the front left corner of the box after the ball was cleared on a corner attempt.
- The Hawks and Red Dragons continued to push into each other's offensive zone as time wound down, but all attempts were cleared by the back lines and the score ended in a 0-0 deadlock.
