ONEONTA, N.Y. – The Hartwick Volleyball program released their Fall 2022 schedule today.
The Hawks who finished with one of the program's best records to date at 18-4 and 7-1 in Empire 8 (E8) play open their 2022 campaign in Cortland at the Red Dragon Classic against Western New England University on Friday, September 2. They will also play St. Lawrence, Fredonia, and SUNY Cortland over the course of the opening weekend.
The program will make their home debut on Friday, September 16 against William Smith College in the opening match of their home tournament. The Hawks will follow that match up with two more on Saturday, September 17 against SUNY Morrisville and Alfred State.
Hartwick will have one more non-conference tune-up against SUNY Cobleskill on September 20
th before opening E8 play against Medaille on Friday the 23
rd. In their first away weekend in E8 play, the Hawks will face the 2021 conference runner up and 2021 conference champions in Nazareth and St. John Fisher respectively.
The Hawks wrap up regular season play close to home as they face Baruch College and Oneonta State in a tri-match at Oneonta.
The E8 tournament opening round is slated to begin on November 1, while the semi-finals and finals will be played on November 4 and 5 respectively.
