Hawks and Wolves Settle for 0-0 Draw in E8 Opener

ONEONTA, N.Y. – Hartwick put up 10 shots on goal across the match, but were unable to find the back of the net, settling for a 0-0 draw with visiting Keuka on Saturday afternoon

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
 
  • Hartwick dominated in their offensive zone, putting up 8 shots and 5 shots on goal in the first half.
  • Unfortunately, the Wolves keeper denied every shot.
  • The Hawks continued to put up shots in the second half, getting off 14 and once again putting 5 on goal.
  • Once again, Hartwick was unable to find the back of the net.
  • Keuka began to create chances of their own, putting three shots on goal, but Sara Staup (Woodinville, N.Y.) picked up all three saves.
  • After 90 minutes expired, neither squad found the game winner and the contest ended 0-0.
