CORTLAND, N.Y. – The Hawks fell behind early and were unable to overcome the deficit, dropping a non-conference tilt at SUNY Cortland 4-0.

- Cortland would end up taking a two-goal lead in the 38th minute after a one-timer found its way just under the crossbar.
- Unfortunately, the second half was just as unkind to the visiting Hawks as the home squad put up two more goals in the second half to take the 4-0 win.
