ALBANY, N.Y. – Hartwick Women's Basketball fell 71-58 on the road at Sage on Tuesday night in Empire 8 action.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
- Hartwick ended the first quarter with a 15-13 advantage.
- The Gators took a bite out of Hartwick's lead in the early part of the second quarter.
- The Hawks regained the lead briefly off of back-to-back baskets by Meghan Perry (Otego, N.Y.), but Sage responded with a run of their own to take a 39-34 lead into halftime.
- By the end of the third quarter, the Gators doubled their lead over the Hawks, 58-48.
- Hartwick quickly cut the Sage lead down to five as Angelina Maselli (Burlington, Conn.) hit a triple, which was quickly followed up with a two-point jumper from Bree Fargnoli (Binghamton, N.Y.).
- Unfortunately, that was as close as the Hawks would get as Sage pulled away down the stretch to claim the 71-58 Empire 8 win.
- Fargnoli paced the offense for Hartwick, dropping 16 points, while Meghan Perry ended her night with 10 points.
