WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

  • Hartwick began the game with high intensity, catching the Skidmore defense off guard with several pushes into the opposing third but couldn't find the right opportunity to get a shot on goal.

  • The opposition answered back with multiple pushes of their own after being pressured heavily for the first ten minutes, these attacks had little to no success as the Hawk defense maintained composure and kept the game scoreless.

  • The first half ended in a scoreless stalemate as both sides struggled to cash in on the opportunities that they created throughout the half, Hartwick posted one shot compared to Skidmore's two as well as two corners opposed to the oppositions four.

  • With the second half underway, the Hawks battled but Skidmore was the first to find the back of the net in the 63rd minute, then scored soon after to go up two goals.

  • Anabel Rommer (Unadilla, N.Y) had the most dangerous attempt for the Hawks, banking the ball off the post but unluckily bounced out, Hartwick finished with four shots and three corners.
