ALLENTOWN, Pa. – The Hawks comeback fell nine-points short, dropping a non-conference road contest at Muhlenberg on Saturday afternoon.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
- The Hawks played the Mules tight through the first quarter, trailing by three after the first 10 minutes of action.
- However, Muhlenberg doubled up Hartwick in the second quarter, outscoring the visiting squad 18-9 to take a 12-point lead into the half.
- Out of the break, Hartwick stayed close, putting away 13 points in the third quarter while holding the Mules to 15 points to stay within striking distance.
- The Hawks outscored Muhlenberg by four in the 4th quarter, but it was not enough to complete the comeback, falling 64-55.
- Isabella Astorino (Warwick, N.Y.) once again paced the Hartwick offense, putting up 15 points, going 5-8 from the field and 5-6 at the charity stripe.
- Bree Fargnoli (Binghamton, N.Y.) also finished in double figures with 11.
UP NEXT FOR THE HAWKS
The Hawks will stay close to home next weekend, playing in the SUNY Oneonta tournament on Friday and Saturday. Hartwick will open up their weekend at 5:30 PM against Mount St. Mary College.
