Ithaca, N.Y. – The Hartwick Men's and Women's Swim and Dive traveled to Ithaca to participate in Day 1 of the 12th annual Bomber Invite.

MEN'S RECAP

Jack Armstrong (Windham, NH) put on a strong performance on the diving board, scoring 439.85 on eleven dives in three meter diving which placed him second out of eight divers.

Peyton Humphries (South Glens Falls, NY) was also solid on the board, putting up 328.10 to place fifth and add 25 points towards the Hawks total.

Cameron Drake (El Cajon, Cal.) posted a 4:53 finish in the 500 yard freestyle, ranking him 12th out of 53 swimmers.

Hassan Abdelwahed (New Hartford, N.Y.) completed the 200 IM in 2:00, Boden Tito (Southington, Conn.) finished just two seconds behind Abdelwahed.

Bryce Rogers (Fulton, N.Y.) placed 23rd in the 50 yard freestyle with a 22.5 finish, just .1 second behind 22nd place.

The Men capped their day off in the 200 yard medley relay with Owen James (St. Lutz, Fla.), Mikey Schultz (Binghamton, NY), Abdelwahed, and Rogers finished in 1:37, the Men scored 166 through ten events.
WOMEN'S RECAP

Marielle Rodriguez (Mamaroneck, N.Y.) scored 322.85 on eleven dives in one meter diving.

Ellie Baird (Wilton, N.Y.) completed the 500 yard freestyle in 5:21.61 earning her 21st out of 47 swimmers.Cate Russo (San Pedro, Cal.) would come in just .21 second after Baird to give the women more points.

Min-Syun Chen (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.) finished the 200 yard IM with a time of 2:19.20.

Bree Dy (Matawan, NJ) and Courtney Pierce (Fulton, N.Y.) finished right after one another in the 50 yard freestyle with Dy finishing in 25.98 seconds and Pierce finishing with a 26.05 mark.

The grouping of Amanda Wilbur (Watkins Glen, N.Y.), Dy, Chen and Pierce completed the 200 yard medley in a time of 1:55.30, giving them a total of 55 through ten events.
