ONEONTA, N.Y. – The Hawks stayed within striking distance throughout the entire contest, but were unable to withstand the Golden Flyers' strong fourth quarter, falling 54-40.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
- The visiting Golden Flyers jumped on the Hawks early, taking a 13-point lead.
- However, the Hawks clawed their way back to knot the score up at 19-19 midway through the second quarter.
- Hartwick took a brief two-point lead at the 6:57 mark in the second, but ultimately ended up trailing 23-21 at the half.
- The Golden Flyers scored the opening basket of the second half, building an eight-point lead midway through the third quarter.
- The Hawks battled back, getting within three with 2:06 left to go in the third, but Nazareth answered right back to take a 38-30 lead into the final quarter.
- Just under a minute into the fourth quarter, Daniella DeBiase (Staten Island, N.Y.) drilled a three to get Hartwick back within five.
- Unfortunately, Nazareth would take control of the rest of the game from there to take the 54-40 win.
- DeBiase ended her night with 10 points, while Bree Fargnoli (Binghamton, N.Y.) chipped in eight points to go along with 11 rebounds.
