WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – The Hawks were fought through a tight first set to set the tone for a three-set win over Penn State Mont Alto to end their opening weekend with a 3-0 record.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
- After griding out two wins last night at the Lycoming Tournament, the Hawks came out and took a three-set win over Mont Alto to cap off their undefeated weekend.
- The trio of Shelby Swartz (Candor, N.Y.), Shaelyn Thornton (Scarborough, Me.), and Staecia Silofau (Kapolei, Hawaii) once again finished in double digit kills over the three sets.
- Aaliyah Williams (Poughkeepsie, N.Y.) was a force offensively and defensively in the middle for Hartwick, putting away seven kills and recording three total blocks.
- Braelyn Hornick (Candor, N.Y.) tallied 47 assists.
