Four other Hawks would improve on their 6k times from last week, including Will Mensah (Cliffwood, N.J.), who set a faster pace to improve by just over 2 full minutes. Basil Metz (Highland, N.Y.) would cut his 6k time down by 5 seconds, Devon Spalding (Mineola, N.Y.) would improve by 38 seconds, and Nathan Barkley (Tupper Lake, N.Y.) would shave off 1 minute and 9 seconds from his previous time.

COMMENTS FROM HEAD COACH NATE CREWS

"The women went out to chase some times today on a flat course. Overall, they stayed consistent and slightly improved after a pretty grueling week of training. The men toed the line with one objective in mind: to defeat in conference competition. The men definitely delivered with an over 20 point deficit."

UP NEXT FOR THE HAWKS

The Hawks will travel next to University of Rochester to compete in the Yellowjacket Invitational on September 20th with an expected 10:00am start time.
