ASHLAND, Va. - Senior attackman Colin August will represent Hartwick in the prestigious United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Division III North/South All-Star Game on Friday, May 22 at Randolph-Macon College. The opening faceoff is scheduled for 4 p.m.
August is one of 58 Division III student-athletes selected to participate in the annual showcase and will compete for the North Team. He will join standout players from fellow Empire 8 institutions Alfred University and St. John Fisher University as the conference is represented on the national stage.
The Garrison native earned the selection following a stellar senior campaign in which he served as the centerpiece of Hartwick's offense. August finished the season with 62 goals, tying the program's single-season record, while also impacting the game in every phase. He led the Hawks in both ground balls (66) and caused turnovers (27), highlighting his all-around playmaking ability.
For his efforts, August earned Empire 8 Second Team honors for the third consecutive season. He was also twice named Empire 8 Offensive Player of the Week and earned recognition on the USILA Division III Team of the Week during the 2026 campaign.
August becomes Hartwick's first selection to the USILA North/South All-Star Game since 2019, when honorable mention All-American defenseman Garrison Wojtas '19 represented the Hawks. He is also the program's first offensive representative in the game since Hartwick all-time points leader Ross Pino '02 earned the honor.
