Biography

2016-17: Competed in the 500 free and earned a time of 5:05.89 at the Sixth Annual Ithaca College Bomber Invite.

2015-2016: Recorded 92.5 points on the season … registered eight third-place individual finishes for the Hawks … competed in freestyle, back, and IM events.

2014-2015: Registered 111.8 points on the season … recorded 88.75 dual meet points … earned second-fastest 1000 free time (10:40.16) and 1650 free time (17:16.48) on the team.

2013-2014: Three four place finishes … was a part of one winning relay team, one second place team, and three third place squads.

Prior to Hartwick: Attended Pembroke High School … lettered in swimming from 2009-2013 … also lettered in track from 2010-2013 and cross country from 2009-2011 … named scholar-athlete in fall of 2012 and winter of 2013 … holds the school record in the 500 free … placed in the top 10 in the 200 free, 200 IM, 100 free, 50 free, 100 back, 100 fly and 300 free … swam with Clarence Swim Club and YMCA Batavia Blue Devils.

Personal: Son of Brian and Renee Burns ... History major at 'Wick.
