2018-2019: Named to the Empire 8 Second Team in the 200 IM … selected to Empire 8 Spring 2019 President's List ... first on the team in both dual meet (308.5) and total (481.5) points … second on the team with 78 points at the Empire 8 Championships … in addition to second-place finish in 200 IM, also finished fourth in the 100 back, fifth in the 200 free, and was a part of four third-place relay finishes: 200 medley, 400 medley, 400 free, and 800 free … led the team with 26 individual wins on the season, also finishing second 12 times … was a part of six relay wins and four second-place relay finishes … entered the program’s all-time top ten as part of two relay teams: tenth in the 200 medley relay (1:35.29) and tenth in the 400 medley relay (3:30.47).

2017-2018: Named Team MVP ... led the Hawks in points with 487.35 points … team-bests of 314.25 points in dual meets and another 70.5 at Empire 8 Championships … won the Empire 8 title in the 200 individual medley … finished fourth in the 100 backstroke … tied for fifth in the 100 fly … combined for fourth place in the 200 and 400 medley relay and the 400 free and 800 free relays … named Empire 8 Men’s Swimmer of the Week on finished on November 13 … received Hartwick "Hawk of the Week" honors on 11/13 and 1/8 ... finished first in 29 races … placed sixth in another six … combined for 10 relay victories … ranks third at Hartwick in the 200 IM (1:53.46) … ranks fourth in the 100 fly (50.90) and 100 backstroke (51.63) … a part of 200 medley relay team which ranks eighth at ’Wick.

2016-2017: Named to the Upper New York State Collegiate Swimming Association All-Academic Team … tapped a Hartwick "Hawk of the Week" on 1/17 ... set an Alfred University 100 individual medley pool record (53.66) … second-most first-place finishes (27) … a part of the 200 medley relay team (1:34.71) which ranks fourth at ’Wick … 200 free relay team rankis fifth all-time (1:24.46) … 400 free relay team (3:08.62) ranks 10^th … paced the Hawks in the 200 IM at the Sixth Annual Ithaca College Bomber Invite coming in seventh (1:58.40) … a part of the 200 medley relay team which finished fourth (1:37.45) … a member of the 200 free relay team who placed third (1:26.46) … a part of the 400 medley relay team that swam to second (3:31.90) … won the 100 IM (53.66) at the Sixth Annual Ithaca College Bomber Invite … a member of the 400 free relay team which placed fifth (3:10.95) … paced the Hawks finishing sixth (1:56.49) in the 200 IM at the 2017 UNYSCSA Championships … finished 7^th in the 100 back … 200 and 400 free teams took third … sixth in the 800 free relay.

2015-2016: Won UNYSCSA and Empire 8 titles  and earned First Team honors in the 200 freestyle … also was a part of E8 Second Team relays in 200 medley relay, 400 free relay, and 800 free relay … named Empire 8 Athlete of the Week (11/17) … swam in free, back, breast, fly, and IM events … swam to fastest time on the team in 200 free, 50 back, and 200 IM … recorded 349 points on the season … 120.5 points at the UNYSCSA Championships ranked third on the team … ranks fourth all-time at ’Wick in 200 IM … also ranks sixth in 200 free and 100 back, seventh in the 200 back, and eighth in the 100 fly.

Prior to Hartwick: Attended Brooklyn Technical Institute … swam four years … named Male Athlete of the Year and Most Valuable Swimmer (2015) … Rookie of the Year (2012) … school record holder in 200 medley relay, 200 free relay, and 400 free relay … state qualifier … two-year PSAL champ in 100 and 200 free.

Personal: Son of Yinney and Brian Zhang … Psychology major.
