Blaney won all five individual events he swam in in a pair of weekend meets against Oneonta State and RPI. He won the 100 and 200 freestyle events in both meets and also finished first in the 100 butterfly against Oneonta. Blaney also combined with his teammates for victories in the 400 medley relay against the Red Dragons and the 200 free relay against the Engineers.
