Fowler scored the game-winning goal in a key 2-1 Sun Belt Conference victory over New Jersey Institute of Technology on Saturday in Newark, NJ. With the Hawks leading 1-0, Fowler took a through pass from Jamie O’Grady, got the goalkeeper to commit, and chipped the ball over him to give ’Wick a two-goal cushion. Fowler now has goals in two straight Sun Belt games.
