Rice, who earns the honor for the second time this season, dropped only seven games in six matches for the Hawks in their 3-0 week. On Monday she defeated her opponent from Bard 6-3, 6-0 at the top flight. She topped her counterpart from Utica 6-1, 6-1 and finished her week in singles with a 6-1, 6-0 triumph over St. John Fisher. In doubles matches, she combined with partner Rose Natoli for two 8-0 wins versus Bard and Fisher to go along with an 8-1 victory over Utica. Rice is a perfect 12-0 this season with six singles and six doubles wins.
