Miller anchored a Hartwick defense that posted two shutouts at the Empire 8 Championship. Miller and the Hawks allowed only five shots as they blanked Alfred 3-0 in the semifinals on Friday. They then kept nationally 16^th ranked Stevens scoreless in a 0-0 tie which gave them a share of the E8 title. For her efforts, Miller was selected to the All-Tournament Team.
