CAMBRIDGE, MA - Hartwick sealed its 10th straight CWPA Northern Division title on Saturday with wins over Brown and Harvard. The Hawks needed overtime for its 12-9 comeback win over the Bears. It also marked head coach Alan Huckins' 200th career win at Hartwick. The Hawks later wrapped up the crown with an 11-8 triumph over the host Crimson.

'Wick was down for virtually the entire match against Brown. The Hawks trailed 3-1 at the end of the first quarter and 6-3 at the half. The Blue and White cut it to a two-goal deficit (7-5) after three quarters, and fought back in the fourth to force overtime with three of four fourth-quarter goals. In the first overtime period, Hartwick outscored the Bears by a 3-1 margin and tacked on another goal in the 2nd overtime period for the win.

The victory was the 200th for Huckins in just seven seasons with the program. He has guided the Hawks to at least 28 wins in his previous six seasons and now holds a record of 201-67 (.726). The Hawks are 26-5 against the Bears all-time.

Senior Kirsten Hudson (Wellington, New Zealand/Sacred Heart) crossed the 600-point barrier for her career in the game with three goals and two assists. Christina Evans (Cedar Hills, UT/Lone Peak) scored four times and Hanneke Alferink (Nijverdal, Netherlands/Univ. of Groningen) added three goals. Jessica McKee (Tustin, CA/Laguna Beach) dished out three assists. Keeper Jess Dorman (Auckland, New Zealand/Diocesan) made eight saves and grabbed three steals.

Hartwick stayed perfect against Harvard (26-0 all-time) in the second game of the day. Allyssa Analytis (Montreal, Quebec/Sacred Heart) scored four goals for the Hawks. Sasha Freeborn (Auckland, New Zealand/Westlake Girls) added three tallies and Evans added two. Lily Martinez (Commerce, CA/Montebello) registered four assists and four steals and Dorman made 12 saves.

Hartwick next competes at the 2010 CWPA Eastern Championships in College Park, MD from April 30th to May 2nd.
