COLLEGE PARK, MD - Cassie Wyckoff made eight saves and Nicole Redder pumped in three goals as No. 14 Indiana University upset No. 11 Hartwick College 8-7 to reach the 2010 Eastern Championship title game at the University of Maryland's Eppley Recreation Center. The Hoosiers will play Michigan for the crown.

The IU victory snaps a four-year streak by Hartwick in reaching the Eastern title game as the Hawks competed in the 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009 tilts. Today's game marked the fourth time Hartwick and Indiana have played in the semifinal round with Hartwick winning 6-5 in 2004 and 15-7 in 2007. The Hoosiers prevailed 7-6 in 2005.

Kirsten Hudson (Wellington, New Zealand/Sacred Heart) scored two goals to lead the Blue and White. Christina Evans (Cedar Hills, UT/Lone Peak), Hanneke Alferink (Nijverdal, Netherlands/Univ. Of Groningen), Sasha Freeborn (Auckland, New Zealand/Diocesan), Lily Martinez (Commerce, CA/Montebello), and Jessica McKee (Tustin, CA/Laguna Beach) each scored once. Jess Dorman (Auckland, New Zealand/Diocesan) made 10 saves in the 'Wick cage.

This will mark the fourth time the Hoosiers and Wolverines will have met this season with Michigan holding a 3-0 mark with 7-6, 6-4 and 5-3 victories, including a win in the Western Division title game last weekend.

Hartwick (25-5) will take on #19 Princeton in the third-place game tomorrow at 1 p.m. The Hawks and Tigers battled once before this season on March 6th with 'Wick emerging with a 10-8 win.
