HILTON HEAD, SC – Hartwick men's tennis fell to 0-2 on the season after a 9-0 defeat at the hands of the 30^th ranked team in the country, DePauw University, in a match played in Hilton Head, SC on Monday. With the win, the Tigers improve to 9-3 on the year.
           
Hartwick senior Jeff Boyd (West Newbury, MA/Pentucket Regional) nearly took his match to a third set in his first singles match against DePauw's Michael Rardon. Boyd fell in six games in the first set but took five games in the second in a 6-0, 7-5 loss.
           
The Hawks play in their final game of their South Carolina trip today against Oberlin College.
