HILTON HEAD, SC – Men's tennis slipped to 0-2 on the season on Wednesday with a defeat to the Concordia (WI) Falcons in Hilton Head, SC. The Falcons secured a 9-0 victory.
           
Concordia won all three doubles matches to take a 3-0 advantage. The Hawks' top doubles team of 
Brian Redder (Marion, NY/Williamson) and 
Will Gilbraith (West Monroe, NY/Paul V. Moore) took three games from the Falcons' Russell Johnson and Skip Turner.
           
In singles, 
Liam Brown (Suffield, CT/Suffield) came close to a Hartwick victory in the third flight. He lost a 6-4, 6-4 decision to Concordia's Tanner Hahn.
           
Gilbraith also took five games from Turner at number two singles, 6-2, 6-3.
           
The Hawks will wrap up their South Carolina trip on Friday. 'Wick opposes Franklin College (IN) at noon.
