ITHACA, NY – The host Ithaca Bombers swept all nine matches against the visiting Hartwick Hawks on Saturday in Empire 8 Conference men's tennis action. The Bombers up their record to 4-5 overall and 2-1 in the E8. The Hawks fall to 0-5 and 0-2.
           
Junior Will Gilbraith (West Monroe, NY/Paul V. Moore) was the lone Hawk to win three games in singles play. He dropped a 6-2, 6-1 decision to Ithaca's Zach Passman.
           
Sophomore Liam Brown (Suffield, CT/Suffield) and junior Sean Coppola (Canastota, NY/Canastota) each fell 6-1, 6-1 in their respective matches. Brown dropped his match in third singles to IC's Wes Davis. Coppola fell in fourth singles to Chris Hayes.
           
The Hawks return home to take on Alfred on Sunday, April 6. Match time begins at 1 p.m.
