ONEONTA, NY – Host SUNY Oneonta dropped just eight total games on Wednesday in a 9-0 win over the Hartwick College men's tennis team. The Red Dragons improve to 5-7 overall with the victory. The Hawks drop to 0-7.
Oneonta won the three doubles matches convincingly by margins of 8-1, 8-0, and 8-1. Five of the Red Dragons' six singles players lost one game or less in their respective flights. 'Wick junior
Will Gilbraith (West Monroe, NY/Paul V. Moore) was the lone player to earned three games at the second singles flight. He lost a 6-2, 6-1 decision to Oneonta's Mackenzie Park.
Hartwick will look for its first win of the 2014 campaign this coming Saturday. The Hawks are on the road at Houghton College for a 1 p.m. match time. They also host Nazareth on Sunday at 2 p.m.
