HOBOKEN, NJ – The No. 21 ranked Stevens Institute of Technology men's tennis team (15-7) proved to be too much for the Hartwick Hawks on Saturday in Hoboken. The Ducks secured a 9-0 victory heading into next weekend's Empire 8 playoffs.

The match marked the final one for head coach Andy Pontius. The 17-year 'Wick men's and women's coach for the last 17 seasons announced her retirement earlier this spring.
           
John Talbot (Middlesex, NY/Marcus Whitman) finished the season with a 4-6 mark at number two singles. That total included a 3-5 showing in the Empire 8 Conference.
           
Hartwick men's tennis finishes the season with a 2-9 overall mark. The Hawks went 1-7 in league play.
