ROCHESTER, NY – The Hartwick men's tennis fell 9-0 to St. John Fisher Saturday afternoon at Mendon Racquet Club. The loss drops the Hawks to 1-5 on the year and 0-4 in the Empire 8. The Cardinals up their season record to 3-8 and 2-2 in conference.

John Talbot (Middlesex, NY/Marcus Whitman) and partner Krishna Patel (Brunswick, ME/Pine Tree Academy) scored the most points by any Hawk duo in the doubles portion before falling, 8-5.

At number one singles, Talbot played a close first set against Kevin Kulawiec but would fall 7-5. Talbot would not come closer in the second set, falling 6-3.

Hartwick returns home to host Ithaca on Tuesday, April 18. Action on Hartwick Courts begins at 4 p.m.
