ONEONTA, NY – In its season finale, the Hartwick men's tennis team fell 9-0 to Stevens Saturday morning at Hartwick Courts. The loss snaps the Hawks' two-game win streak as they finish the season 3-9 and 1-7 in the Empire 8. The Ducks are 9-13 and 7-0 in conference play.
The Ducks claimed all three doubles points including two sweeps in the early action.
At the top flight,
John Talbot (Middlesex, NY/Marcus Whitman) played two competitive sets against Kyle Henry. Talbot would fall but just two points in the first set, 6-4, and by a three-point margin in the second, 6-3.
Talbot finishes the year having earned the most wins of any Hawk with a 6-5 record, which includes a four-game win streak all at No. 1 singles.
