ONEONTA, NY - Nationally thirteenth ranked Hartwick was in action today for a trio of games at home in Moyer Pool. 'Wick defeated Saint Francis University 24-18 in their early morning match. Early in the afternoon, they topped Utica College 18-3. In their last match of the day, 'Wick defeated Mercyhurst University 13-8 to complete their sweep of the day's matches.

In the first game, the Hawks had a narrow lead at the end of the first period with a score of 6-5. 'Wick went on to score six goals to the Red Flash's one and led at the half 12-6. The Red Flash kept pace with the Hawks' goals over the second half but were unable to cut into Hartwick's lead. The Hawks went on to win by six goals.

In the third game, the Hawks got off to a slow start, leading 2-1 after the first period. Over the course of the next two periods, the Hawks outscored the Lakers 10-4. The Lakers would outscore 'Wick 2-1 in the fourth but were unable to cut into Hartwick's lead. The Hawks went on to win by five goals.
