Bloomington, IN - Nationally thirteenth ranked Hartwick was in action today for day two games at the Indiana Invite. The Hawks dropped the first game against Marist College 15-14, but rebounded to defeat Mercyhurst University 14-2 in the second game to finish the event with a 3-1 mark.
Against Marist, 'Wick led at the half by two goals and increased its lead to three by the end of the third quarter. The Red Foxes tipped the scales in the fourth quarter, outscoring Hartwick 6-2 to win the match by one.

Tori Wilson (Kitchener, ONT / Grand River Collegiate Institute) and
Zsofia Polak (Dunaujvaros, Hungary / Rudas) each scored four goals apiece against the Red Foxes.
Lena Kotanchyan (Moscow, Russia / Elk Island School) scored a trio of goals with
Lauren Brennan (Canberra, Australia / St. Clares College) adding two.
Becca Lelles (Boulder City, NV / Boulder City HS) scored the remaining goal for the Hawks.
Hannah Edwards (Encinitas, CA / Cathedral Catholic HS) played all 32 minutes in goal. She finished with six saves.

In the second game against Mercyhurst University, the Hawks jumped out to a 10-1 lead at the half. 'Wick then built upon its lead, outscoring the Lakers 4-1 in the second half to cruise to a 14-2 victory over the Lakers.

Wilson was the leading scorer for the Hawks with four goals. Kotanchyan, Polak, and
L.J. Edwards (Encinitas, CA / Cathedral Catholic) each scored a pair of goals.
Katie McKenty (Auckland, New Zealand / Takapuna Grammar School),
Nikolina Mihajlovik (Mississauga, ONT / Silverthorn Collegiate Institute),
Gina Grauer (West Lawn, PA / Wilson HS), and
Maryanna Antoniou (Glyfafa, Greece / Second General HS of Glyfada) each had a lone goal in the second game.
Sabrina Hartwell (Ann Arbor, MI / Skyline HS) made six stops for 'Wick in goal.
The Hawks will be in action next Saturday March 10th at home in Moyer Pool for a pair of games against Princeton University at 10 a.m. and Brown University at 6 p.m.
