Recap: Hartwick freshman Sallie Suski (Glenville, NY/Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake) won at first singles but it wasn't enough as the unbeaten Oneonta Red Dragons defeated Hartwick in women's tennis on Thursday 8-1. Suski topped Oneonta's Danielle Swierczyna in the top flight 3-6, 6-2, 10-6. The win is Suski's fifth this season as she improves to 5-4. Skylar Watts (Rome, NY/Vernon-Verona-Sherill) was able to take eight games from Tamiya Massey in fourth singles. She fell by a final count of 6-3, 7-5.
