ONEONTA, N.Y. – The Hartwick Hawks are finding their groove as they took down the Oswego Lakers on Wednesday night led by an outstanding performance by
Garrett Frost who had 5 points (4G, 1A). They will try to bring that rhythm into their last non- conference game against Plattsburgh State this Saturday at 1pm in Plattsburgh.
The Series:
This is only the second time the Hawks and Cardinals have met, with the Hawks defeating them last season 17-9. It was a tight first half with the score tied at halftime, but a commanding rally in the second half led by returning junior,
Shayne Kerrigan, saw the Hawks come out on top. Kerrigan notched three goals in the half.

In last year's meeting, the Hawks had an outstanding 56 total shots with 36 shots finding the cage. On the defensive end, returning senior
Kyle McKee had 15 saves while the defense cleared the ball 15 out of 17 attempts. Hartwick dominated at the faceoff X, winning 23 times and getting 33 ground balls.
The Hawks will look to carry the momentum created against Oswego, as the offense clicked 40 total shots. The defense also cleared the ball well on Wednesday with 23 successful clears out of 29 attempts.
