WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
- The Hawks fell behind early, dropping all three doubles matches against the Bombers.
- The tough breaks continued for the Hawks in singles play dropping five of the six matches in straight sets.
- Despite being on the losing end of her first set at 3rd singles, Damita Bollers (Brooklyn, N.Y.) rallied back in the second set to win the tie-break, forcing a third set tie break.
- The first year stayed right with her Ithaca opponent, but ultimately dropped a tight set 11-9, giving the Bombers the 9-0 win.
