ONEONTA, N.Y. - Hunter Bulich (Catskill, N.Y.) has been selected as the 2024 Empire 8 Men's Soccer Rookie of the Year, as voted on by conference coaches.
 

The first year forward enjoyed a stellar debut season with the Hawks, amassing eight points on three goals and two assists, ranking second amongst the team in both categories. Bulich played in all 17 matches this season, starting thirteen. Hunter posted his first collegiate assist on September 25th vs SUNY Poly on Elmore Field and his first collegiate goal versus Keuka on October 5th.

Bulich also got his first look at the Empire 8 Championship Tournament, making a postseason debut to remember. Hunter scored the game tying goal vs No.3 seed SUNY Geneseo en route to capturing the Empire 8 Quarterfinal upset victory. Hunter and the Hawks will look to make the trip back to the Empire 8 Championship Tournament for the fourth consecutive season, starting next year.

 
The standout forward from Catskill, N.Y. marks the second Empire 8 Rookie of the Year for Hartwick Men's Soccer, joining teammate Kwame Amissah-Arthur (Federal Way, Wash.), when he earned the honor in 2022.
