Men's Soccer Lands Four Hawks on All-Conference List

ONEONTA, N.Y - The Hartwick Men's Soccer program landed four Hawks on the 2024 Empire 8 Men's Soccer All-Conference list.

The Hartwick Hawks ended their 2024 campaign with an 8-8-2 overall record, going 6-5 as they clinched their third consecutive Empire 8 Tournament berth.

Jake Daly (Baldwinsville, N.Y.) and Dante Gesamondo (Lynnfield, Mass.) headline the All-Conference selections for Hartwick, both being selected to the second team. Daly enjoyed a stellar junior season, taking a massive leap forward as he led the team with four goals and five assists. Gesamondo was rock solid in between the posts, collecting a career high 65 saves to go with a 71% save percentage and five shutouts.

Hunter Bulich (Catskill, N.Y.) and Kwame Amissah-Arthur (Federal Way, Wash.) rounded out the All-Conference selections, being recognized on the third team. Bulich ranked second among the squad with three goals and two assists in his standout debut year. Amissah-Arthur made the most of his limited time on the pitch this season, scoring two goals, along with a game-winner at home versus Elmira on October 9th.

Timmy McQueeney (Wading River, N.Y.) was selected as Hartwick's representative for the Empire 8 Sportsman of the Year Award. This honor is awarded to one member of each institution that has distinguished themselves and consistently exhibits the critical traits as outstanding sportsmen.
