ONEONTA, N.Y. – Senior midfielder,
Ashley Tricarico (Hopewell Junction, N.Y.) was recently named National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division III Second Team All-Region for Region 3.
The NFHCA places all NCAA Division III institutions into six regions. Each region recognizes up to 16 student-athletes on both the first team and second team.
Tricarico played critical roles both offensively and defensively for the Hawks this season serving as the primary inserter on penalty corners as well as serving on the defensive penalty corner squad. The senior recorded 18 points for the Hawks with six goals and six assists. Prior to this award, the John Jay graduate earned her first Empire 8 nod, earning first team honors this season.
