ONEONTA, N.Y. – Hartwick College Head Football Coach, Matt Rogers, announced the hiring of Tyler Elmore as Offensive Coordinator/Offensive Line Coach as well as Recruiting Coordinator, effective Monday, March 17th.
Elmore comes to Hartwick after serving as Run Game Coordinator/Offensive Lines and Tight Ends Coach and Recruiting Coordinator for the SUNY Morrisville Mustangs since the 2022 spring and fall seasons.
"Tyler is as good a person and football coach as I know. I have been fortunate to coach Tyler as a player and then work with him as a fellow coach and he will be instrumental in the future of Hartwick Football moving forward," remarks Rogers. "Tyler has a proven record of coaching, developing, recruiting and building relationships. I couldn't be happier or prouder to welcome Tyler to our Hartwick Football family."
During his playing career, Elmore was named to the 2021 Empire 8 All-Conference Second Team as an offensive lineman and received D3football.com Team of the Week accolades in 2019.
He was also honored as captain in his senior season.
"I am genuinely excited and grateful for the opportunity to join Hartwick College as the new Offensive Coordinator and I am very excited to work alongside Coach Rogers again," says Elmore.
