Aubrey Vaile (Wesley Chapel, Fla.) and Anthony Ruggiero (Schenectady, N.Y.) were named Hawks of the Week following standout performances this past week, marking the first weekly honor of 2026 for both student-athletes.

Vaile powered the Hawks to an impressive victory over St. Lawrence, claiming two individual wins while contributing to a pair of relay victories. She opened the meet as part of the winning 200-yard medley relay squad, posting a time of 1:57.59. Vaile followed with a dominant performance in the 50-yard freestyle, touching the wall first in 26.41 seconds. She secured her second individual win in the 100-yard butterfly with a strong 1:04.12 finish. Vaile capped off her stellar day by helping the Hawks take first in the 400-yard freestyle relay, teaming with Bischoff, Gucciardi, and Russo to record a winning time of 3:59.68.

The Hartwick Swim and Dive team will conclude the regular season with a road dual meet at Vassar College, facing the Brewers on Saturday at 1 p.m.

Ruggiero played a pivotal role in Men's Volleyball's historic five-set victory over Houghton on Tuesday, helping secure the program's first win in team history. The first-year delivered a career-high 17 kills while adding 14 digs in the effort. Anthony was also a force from the service line, recording four aces on the night.

Men's Volleyball will travel to Bard College for a tri-match against Purchase and Bard on Saturday, January 31, with matches scheduled for 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
