ONEONTA, NY
– The Hartwick football team will look to head into its bye week on a high note as the Hawks travel to Worcester, MA to face Becker College on Saturday afternoon. Kickoff will be at 4 p.m. at Alumni Field.

The Hawks are 2-0 after a 51-34 victory over Morrisville last week. Travis Samuels (Harlem, NY/Clarkstown North) had a career game with three receiving touchdowns and a kick returned for a touchdown. Kurtis Ahart (Spencer, NY/Spencer Van Etten) ran for 194 yards and a pair of scores. Quarterback John Garcia (Warwick, NY/Warwick Valley) had another solid game in his second career start as he passed for 236 yards and four touchdowns. The defense, led by Dante Crump's (Kingston, NY/Kingston) 14 tackles, had three sacks, three forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries, and two interceptions.

Becker is coming off a 34-0 defeat to MIT. Hartwick leads the all-time series 6-0 and defeated Becker 53-41 last year at Wright Stadium.
