ITHACA, NY- The Hartwick Men's Indoor Track & Field team was in action today at the Marc Denault Invitational hosted by Cornell University at historic Barton Hall Track.

Sophomore
Mark Garceau (Lebanon, NJ/North Hunterdon) finished sixth in the 3000m for the Hawks with a season-best time of 9:39.15. Sophomore
Sean Waltman (Sayre, PA/Athens) finished twentieth in the 60m hurdles in 10.49 and fourteenth in the shot put with a mark of 7.49 meters.

Omar Nelson (Oneonta, NY/Oneonta) was eighteenth in the 800m in a season-best time of 2:09.09. Senior captain
Nate Benjamin (Vestal, NY/Vestal) placed eleventh in the long jump with a mark of 4.40 meters.

Freshman
Chisomaga Emeh (Lagos, Nigeria/Jesuit Memorial College) took twenty-seventh in the 200m in 26.70 and twenty-eighth in the 60m dash in a time of 8.04, matching his personal best in that event. Junior captain
Harry Helinski (Johnsburg, NY/Johnsburg) was twenty-third in the mile with a time of 5:04.39. Sophomore
Will May (Bethel Park, PA/Bethel Park) finished tenth in the 3000m (11:26.25).

Today's meet marks the end of the 2019-2020 indoor regular season. The Hawks will next be in action on Friday February 28 for day one of the 2020 Empire 8 Track and Field Championships hosted by Houghton College in Houghton, NY.
