HOUGHTON, NY - The Hartwick Men's Indoor Track & Field team was in action today for day two of the 2020 Empire 8 Indoor Track and Field Championships hosted by Houghton College at the Kerr-Pegula Field House. The team placed in sixth place in team scoring

Omar Nelson (Oneonta, NY/Oneonta) finished thirteenth in the 800m in a new personal best time of 2:07.39. Sophomore
Mark Garceau (Lebanon, NJ/North Hunterdon) was eighteenth in the 3000m in 9:58.39.

Sean Waltman (Sayre, PA/Athens), Nelson, junior captain
Harry Helinski (Johnsburg, NY/Johnsburg) and, Garceau finished in sixth with a new season best time of 3:56.86.

Today's championship meet marks the conclusion of the 2019-2020 Indoor Track & Field season. The Hawks will next be in action for the start of the outdoor season on March 28 for the Mount Saint Mary College Invitational in Marlboro, NY.
