On this day in 2012 the #13 Hartwick women's water polo team defeated Redlands 14-9, becoming just the second school since the modern era began in 2001 to win 300 games.

The Bulldogs took a 5-4 lead in the opening stanza, but a slim 2-1 Hawks advantage in the second led to a six-all tie after two. 'Wick rattled home three unanswered late in the third to grab a 9-6 lead, but Redlands answered with two tallies of their own to make it a 9-8 game headed to the fourth.

The Hawks took some of the tension out of the game in the final period, outscoring their hosts 5-1 for the five-goal win. Allison Kosich (pictured) led the way with five goals and two assists on the day for Hartwick.
