Cortland, NY- The Hartwick Men's Outdoor Track & Field team was back in action today for day two of the SUNY Cortland Classic. The meet was hosted by SUNY Cortland at the SUNY Cortland Stadium Complex.
Sophomore
Armani Banton (Beacon, NY/Marlboro) finished seventh in the high jump with a new personal best jump of 1.72 meters. Senior
Sean Waltman (Sayre, PA/Athens) finished twelfth in the 400m intermediate hurdles with a season best time of 1:09.37. Junior
Chisomaga Emeh (Lagos, Nigeria/Jesuit Memorial College) finished thirty-fifth in the 200m dash with a personal best time of 25.90. Sophomore
Ross Arvin (Richmondville, NY/Cobleskill-Richmondville) finished twenty-fourth in the shot put with a throw of 9.21 meters and twenty-fourth in the discus with a new personal best toss of 26.85 meters.
Sophomore
Joe Catalano (Chester, NY/Chester) finished seventh in the 400m with a season best time of 53.82 and twenty-seventh in the 200m dash with a season best time of 24.69. Freshman
Josh Worrell (White Plains, NY/Woodlands) finished fortieth in the 200m dash with a season best time of 26.49. Sophomore
Kevin Mason (Galloway, NJ/Holy Spirit) finished thirtieth in the 200m dash with a new personal best time of 24.75.
The 4x100m Relay composed of Banton, Waltman, Mason, and Chisomaga finished sixth in a  season best time of 47.08. The 4x800m Relay composed of Senior
Mark Garceau (Lebanon, NJ/North Hunterdon), Mason, Catalano, and Chisomaga finished eighth in a time of 10:58.26.
The Hawks will be back in action this Tuesday April 26, for the Central New York College Challenge hosted by SUNY Cortland in Cortland, NY.
