Clinton,N.Y. – The Hartwick Women's Track and Field team traveled to Hamilton College to compete in the Hamilton Continental Indoor Invitational amongst four other teams.

The Women started their afternoon with the 60 meter hurdles race, Giovanna Wall (West Hurley, N.Y.) finished fifth with a time of 10.64 seconds to get the team going.Wall followed up with another strong performance in the second round, finishing at 10.75 seconds.

Pepita Graham (Schenectady, N.Y.) finished fifth in the 60 meter race, crossing the finish line in 8.43 seconds.

Brynita Haas (Red Creek, N.Y.) finished the miles in six minutes flat, finishing sixth. Haas finished third in the 3000 meter with a time of eleven minutes and fifty four seconds.

Graham kept the Hawks going, clocking in at third in the second round of the 60 meter with a 8.30 second finish.

The Hawks capped off the track portion of the day with the 4x400 relay, Atti Dinsmore (Burkburnett, Tex.), Destiny Carter (Rensselaer, N.Y.), Stephanie Cohen (Westtown, N.Y.) and Wall clocked in at four minutes and forty five seconds.

Wall posted a 9.45 score in shot put and Dinsmore scored 3.87 in the long jump.

Hartwick will head to Utica University for the Blue and Orange Invitational at 10:00 AM on Saturday, January 27th.
