CORTLAND, N.Y. – The Hartwick Hawks Women's Track and Field program traveled to SUNY Cortland to compete in Day 2 of the Cortland Classic.

The Hawks began their day with Giovanna Wall (West Hurley, N.Y.), Molly Corbett (Kings Park, N.Y.), Atti Dinsmore (Burkburnett, Tex.) and Destiny Carter (Rensselaer, N.Y.) competing in the 4x100 relay. The squad combined for a time of 55.03 seconds.

Kayla Burt (Whitesboro, N.Y.) represented the Hawks in the 400 meter race, Burt crossed the finish line in one minute and twenty seven seconds.

Carter was the top finisher for Hartwick in the 200 meter, clocking in at 29.38 seconds. Dinsmore was next to cross for the team, coming in at 29.78 seconds.

The 4x800 relay was completed by Sophia Kehr (Charlotte, Vt.), Maddy Smith (Oneonta, N.Y.), Taylor Stalker (Lowville, N.Y.) and Brynita Haas (Red Creek, N.Y.). The squad combined for a time of twelve minutes and fifteen seconds.

Wall placed in the top half in shot put, scoring 8.61 to earn 14th place.

Stalker scored 1.26 in the high jump to cap off the Cortland Classic.
