ONEONTA, N.Y. - The Hartwick swimming and diving teams faced off against the SUNY Brockport Golden Eagles in dual meet action, ultimately falling short to Brockport 105-193 in team scoring.

HOW IT HAPPENED

The 1-meter diving event opened the day, as Aidan Page took second for the Hawks with 181.45 points in scoring. Later, the 3-meter diving event saw Diego Vera (White Plains, NY) earn second with 163.55 points.

In the swimming events, the 200 yard medley relay team made up of Karim Mohamed (New Hartford, N.Y.), Mahdi Behniaye (Hannibal, Mo.), Bryce Rogers (Fulton, N.Y.), and Badr Aly (East Syracuse, NY) would take third place after finishing less than a second behind Brockport's second place team. Rogers would also claim second in the 200 yard butterfly and first in both the 100 yard free and the 100 yard butterfly.

Meanwhile, Cameron Drake (El Cajon, Cal.) made waves in the freestyle events, getting several big wins on the board for the men's team with three first place finishes.

Despite the Hawks later struggling in the backstroke events, both Mohamed and Aly would claim third place finishes in their respective breaststroke events.

Conor Barry (Clifton Park, NY), after having previously taken second in the 200 yard IM, would also compete with Drake, Keegan Burkhardt (West Hurley, NY), and Jack Hanson to finish third in the 200 yard freestyle relay to close out the day.
