ONEONTA, NY – Hartwick's men's soccer, football, field hockey, and women's soccer teams each face critical road games this weekend in their respective conferences. Men's soccer, football, and field hockey head south to West Virginia, Maryland, and New Jersey, respectively, while women's soccer travels to Rochester.
All four of the Hawks' road games this weekend can be viewed through live webcasts, which are all free of charge. Live stats will also be available for each of the four contests. 'Wick men's soccer plays in Morgantown, WV against West Virginia University in the team's third Mid-American Conference game of the season on Sunday at 1 p.m. The Hawks are coming off a big 1-0 shutout of Bucknell University on Wednesday with
Marc Russell (Glasgow, Scotland/Woodfarm HS) tallying and
Tom Buckner (Oxford, England/Henley College) providing the clean sheet in goal.
Hartwick is now 4-5-2 overall and 1-1 in the MAC and currently in fifth place in the league standings. The game marks the third meeting between the Hawks and the Mountaineers. 'Wick has won the previous two meetings by scores of 3-2 (in 1997) and 2-1 (2001).
The Mountaineers are second in the conference with a 2-0-1 record. They are 7-3-2 overall and have dropped only one match in their last eight (5-1-2).

Football (3-2) faces a tough task as it plays at nationally 9
th ranked Salisbury on Saturday at 1 p.m. The Hawks began the season 3-0 and are looking to snap a two-game slide against the Gulls.
Hartwick gets back to action after a bye last week. In their previous game against Frostburg on October 6, the Hawks battled back from a 14-point fourth-quarter deficit before coming up just two points short, 28-26.

Tanner Williams (Eagle Bridge, NY/Hoosick Falls) ranks 13
th nationally in all-purpose yards, averaging 175.2 yards per game for Hartwick. He is also 18
th in receiving yards with an average of 107.2 yards per contest.
The Sea Gulls advanced to the NCAA Division III quarterfinals last season. They enter the game with a 4-1 record. SU ranks third in passing efficiency (191.18) and 13
th in rushing offense (280.6 yards/game) this season.

Field hockey (6-6) gets the weekend started on Saturday with a 10:30 a.m. game at Stevens. The game features the top two teams in the Empire 8 Conference this season. The Ducks are 4-0 thus far with the Hawks right behind them in second place at 3-1. The winner will be in the driver's seat for earning the top seed for the upcoming Empire 8 playoffs and the right to host the tournament.

Kelsey Kimble (Dingmans Ferry, PA/Delaware Valley) have combined for 18 goals and seven assists this season for the Hawks.
'Wick is 2-4 against the Ducks all-time but SIT has taken the last four meetings. The Ducks are 9-5 overall this season. They have taken seven of their last nine games entering tomorrow's clash.

Hartwick women's soccer, which got its first Empire 8 Conference win of the season last Saturday with a resounding 4-0 shutout of Alfred, plays at Nazareth Saturday at 2 p.m. The Hawks are now 1-2-1 in E8 play and sixth in the standings. A Hartwick victory would put it in a very favorable position to earn its first conference playoff spot since 2002 with two games remaining on the schedule.
The Hawks have received balanced scoring throughout the season with five players recording at least three goals and seven points.
Cristina Sicari (St. James, NY/Smithtown East),
Emily Thorndike (Dover, MA/Dover Sherborn), and
Kylie Thayer (Ithaca, NY/Ithaca) each have four goals to pace the squad.
The Hawks are 4-15 against the Golden Flyers in series history, but 'Wick has not won since 1987. The Flyers are 7-4-3 overall this season. They are 2-2-1 and fourth in the Empire 8 standings.
