UTICA, NY – The Hartwick Women's Indoor Track & Field team was in action today at the Utica College Invitational hosted by Utica College. The team finished tenth out of eleven teams in team scoring.
           
Junior Lissa Westerman (Newport Beach, CA/Newport Harbor) finished twenty-first in the shot put with a throw of 7.85 meters and twenty-first in the weight throw with a personal best toss of 8.16 meters. Senior Charlotte Lee (Laurens, NY/Laurens) placed fifteenth in the 200m in a season best time of 29.01.
           
Sophomore Annie Sullivan (Derry, NH/Pinkerton Academy) finished sixteenth in the 400m in a time of 1:12.57 and twenty-first in the 800m in a season best time of 2:53.37. Sophomore Anne Baskwill (York, PA/York Suburban) finished twenty-sixth in the 3000m in an indoor personal best time of 13:03.66.
           
Freshman Khadijah Fox (Forrest Hills, NY/Forrest Hills) took eighteenth in the 400m in a time of 1:16.87 and fortieth in the 200m with a season best time of 32.61. Senior Abby Meltzer (Holliston, PA/Holliston) finished thirty-fourth in the mile in a time of 7:21.81.
           
Sophomore Taylor King (Rock Hill, NY/Monticello) placed thirty-second in the mile in a season best time of 6:43.21 and twenty-fifth in the 800m in 3:08.36. Freshman Aaliyah Solis-Castillo (Pasadena, CA/Alverno) finished twenty-eighth in the 800m in a season best time of 3:23.25 and twentieth in the 400m in 1:27.42. Freshman Alyssa Vellekoop (Altamont, NY/Guilderland Central) was twenty-seventh in the 60m dash in a time of 9.70.
           
Junior Hayley Hill (Fort Lauderdale, FL/Fort Lauderdale) finished twenty-fourth in the shot put with a throw of 7.24 meters. Senior captain Tylisha Gourdine (Holly Springs, NC/Watertown) was fourteenth in the 400m in a time of 1:09.30 and twenty-fifth in the 200m dash in a season best time of 29.36. Freshman Ashtyn Allen (Athens, PA/Athens) finished twenty-seventh in the shot put with a throw of 6.45 meters and twenty-fourth in the weight throw with a toss of 4.55 meters.
           
The women's 4x200m relay team composed of Gourdine, Fox, Sullivan, and Lee finished third in a time of 2:02.72.          
           
The Hawks will next be in action on Saturday February 8 at the Blue and Orange Invitational & Multi hosted by Utica College in Utica, NY.
