Cortland, NY- The Hartwick Women's Outdoor Track & Field team was back in action for the Central New York College Challenge. The meet was hosted by SUNY Cortland at the SUNY Cortland Stadium Complex
Junior
Ashtyn Allen (Athens, PA/Athens) finished fifth in javelin with a mark of 25.46 meters. Allen also finished eleventh in discus with a toss of 16.59 meters.
Giovanna Wall (West Hurley, NY/Onteora) finished tenth in the shot put with a mark of 8.62 meters. Wall also finished seventh in the 400m intermediate hurdles in a new personal best time of 1:26.61 and seventh in javelin with a toss of 18.63 meters. Senior
Eryn Thompson (Chittenango, NY/Chittenango) finished tenth in the 800m with a season best time of 3:07.72. Freshman
Maddy Smith (Edmeston, NY/Edmeston) finished ninth in the 1500m with a season best time of 6:00.48.

Vandia Williams (Nassau, Bahamas/St. Andrews International School) finished twelfth in the 100m dash in a time of 14.31. Freshman
Estianna Merchant (Bronx, NY/Women's Academy of Excellence) finished fifteenth in the 100m dash with a new personal best time of 15.27. Freshman
Sophie Ridgway (Albany, NY/Bethlehem) finished eleventh in the 1500m with a season best time of 6:22.33. Sophomore
Sophia Kehr (Charlotte, VT/Charlotte Valley Union) finished tenth in the 1500m with a season best time of 6:20.34.
The Hawks will close out the regular season this Saturday April 30, for the Capital District Classic hosted by the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY.
