Friday

  • Alyssa Vellenkoop (Altamont, N.Y.) competed in her first meet of the season and finished 4th in the Pole Vault.

  • Brynita Haas (Copake, N.Y.) finished 5th in the 5000m.

  • Giovanna Wall (West Hurley, N.Y.) finished 7th in the 1st round of the 100m hurdles. She qualified for the 8-person final that was later contested on Saturday.

  • Sophie Ridgway (Albany, N.Y.) finished 7th in the steeplechase.

  • Wall would later join Atti Dinsmore (Burkburnett, Tex.) in the Javelin. Dinsmore threw a huge personal best in the event with a throw of 75 ft 9 inches. Dinsmore and Wall placed 13th and 16th respectively.
