Gayle Gregory '04 is a three-time All-American who holds 11 women's swimming records at Hartwick.

At the NCAA Championships in 2003, Gregory garnered All-America honors, finishing 11th in the 100-yard backstroke. She repeated the feat in the event the following year, placing 8th, and added All-America status in the 1650-yard freestyle with a 13th place effort.

Gregory holds individual College records in the 200-yard freestyle (1:54.41), 500-yard freestyle (5:04.59), 1000-yard freestyle (10:37.34), 1650-yard freestyle (17:34.99), 100-yard individual medley (1:02.34), 50-yard backstroke (27.87), and 100-yard backstroke (58.32).

She also is a part of four Hartwick relay records in the 400 medley (3:59.83), 200 freestyle (1:40.42), 400 freestyle (3:36.77), and 800 freestyle (7:54.98).

Gregory, who is originally from Corpus Christi, TX, is a three-time NCAA Academic All-American and the recipient of the NYSWCAA Scholar Athlete award.

She owns nine New York State titles and earned Empire 8 All-Conference accolades 21 times in her four seasons with the Hawks. She was tabbed the Empire 8 Swimmer of the Meet at the conference championships and the Empire 8 Swimmer of the Year in her senior season.
